Vinyl will peel off easily once you get it started. Use some bug & tar remover to clean off any left over adheasive. Using anything to scrape it off will guarantee scratches or worst. Since the paint will likely need some tlc anyway, it would be a good idea to have it polished and a fresh coat of wax put on after removing the vinyl.

Are these "decals/stickers" your talking about or a clear vinyl wrap that protects the paint?
