I did somewhat expect this kind of reaction. Maybe i explained it badly. The reason I instinctively left the scene was to try and catch up and get a plate from the guy. My whole rear end was ****** so i didnt know i had a flat tire until I got home, The car drove but theres so much wrong I couldnt make out flat tire, or plastic blocking the wheel in the wheel well, or anything really, because it felt like... I had just gone backwards at 40mph into a tree. Anyway, as soon as i was hit I did a 180 into the median so by the time I could see or drive he was long gone I had no chance at all to see him. And the visibility wasnt too bad but not amazing, it was dark and raining but i could have seen him had I had the chance. Yes i know it was stupid to leave the scene i've said that but as i've said also I was very much in shock and not thinking straight. No contraband to hide or DUI, anything like that, just very stupid judgement. Today I did file a report and actually got a fine for leaving the scene which i did expect. Pics coming as soon as i get home. Hope this clears some of the questions up.
