The door is aluminum and will need replacement. If a shop tells you otherwise, find a new shop because a bondo job will never look right. As long as there is no damage to the rear quarter panel, it can be repaired back to like new condition. It looks like its just the door, so replacing it with a genuine part will make for a very close fit compared to factory. They can just paint the door by itself so issues like overspray can be avoided.
