to be honest I had not the slightest of a chance against those cars with around 500HP and more. But the impressive thing was that I had some training laps with a professional instructor and he was able to pass a 360 Modena, 430 Spyder, Aston Martin Vantage and Porsche Turbo - he got them all in the turns, because he braked so late and hard and hit the perfect line through the course that none of those cars was able to follow.
Of course if he had sitten in one of these, not a chance, but impressive what difference the driver makes and how you can pass high hp cars when you have perfect driving skills versus "normal" people.
BTW there was a lot of praise for the Z both from the other competitors and from the instructor who was excited about how good the stock suspension handled only with the eibach springs mounted.
