Ohhh, nice quote! I loved that movie.
I've never had so many comments on my car since I've bought this one. My first, bright red FX35 got a lot of comments. My '09 FX, not as many, but this 370z, just gets a ton! I've had people in STis, TTs, EVOs, and the whole nine yards pull up next to my car, and just start talking to me. I also like just driving down the highway, and people just randomly giving me "thumbs up!" Usually the passengers in the cars that pass me are the ones going the nuttiest. Rubbernecking is common when I drive this thing around.
I had a guy who had his brand new, supercharged ZR1, come up and say how much more he liked the looks of my Z than his Corvette. He guessed the price of it, and said, "$50-60K?" I told him how much it was, and he started
laughing at me. He thought I was kidding!
Yeah, I can't believe how smooth the suspension is for a car like this. Even my FX has a similar ride to this thing, but the handling on this baby is perfect! Even though I miss the sound of the exhaust when compared to the VQ engines between '03-'08, it actually is nice to have the quieter one when wanting a nice, highway cruise. Yes, there's a ton of road noise, but if you don't want it, buy the G37s. This is a sports car, and I bought it to be one. I can't be happier. (She does become a bit of a hot-head at times with the oil cooling problem, but a fix will be here soon for that, so I'm not worried.) OOOOHHHH, THE SYNCHRO REV MATCH! I love that feature! The brakes are even easier to use than my FX. I thought it was going to be the opposite. Good job Nissan... excellent job. I am a loyal Nissan/Infiniti driver for life. These damn things are bulletproof. (Again, oil cooling thing excluded, but again, not worried at all. Fix is just about here.)
