Again, Motor Trend is a worthless POS rag, the worst car mag on the planet. They are laughed at by other mags all the time. Petersen Publications is a joke. Their biggest asset is Hot Rod Magazine. That says it all.
Not a slight of the Mustang, it's a great car, and wicked bang for the buck, just like a 370Z in that regard. But it's no BMW M3.

OK, so Randy Pobst, the professional driver, the 2003, 2007, 2008 SPEED World Challenge GT champion and is a two-time class winner of the 24 Hours of Daytona, in 2001 and 2006 is willing to lie here? He's thrown away his professional rep for a single car review? Did his driving skills go to shite because MT was paying him for his opinion? Sometimes you just have to let go and accept the new paradigm!
The 'stang isn't a match in all areas but it is in the performance area. To be honest, the M3 is the performance version of a 335i and they
should have compared the M3 to Ford's high performance (yet still much cheaper) version of the mustang called the GT500 where it would precisely get it's *** stomped into the ground.
