I like(d) them as well, but it's common-accepted truth that they're not healthy for high-volume turbochargers or even some stockers - they cause unnecessary compressor surge/flutter in some applications, and quite often leak under high boost.
2 SSQV's is actually a really good setup to eliminate flutter and surge (plus it sounds bad ***), but I'd still rather have something else if I were parting together a kit.
My point is: Synapse Synchronic BOV's are indeed legit. I wouldn't call them an HKS knock off at all.

I have the Synapse bov's and another set of upper charge pipes with the Synchronic flange welded on, so I am going to try them again either with the anti-stall kit or recirculated. I am getting a little compressor surge at very low boost levels. I am going to try to adjust the tial's first and see what happens.
