Not necessarily, it's not just the additional width of the new rims, but the offset as well. If the 10mm wider rims have a more aggressive offset, you might not need a spacer. If I was going aftermarket rims, I would get the right width/offset combo to fill the wheel well with no spacer. Since I happen to love the stock Rays sport wheels, I will probably do as minicobra and add a 15mm spacer down the road.
