Last time I went for inspection, the guy was more interested in the state of my trucks windshield wiper than he was at the the tail end of my exhaust pipe. Well, I won't lie, he was a little fixated on my License plate right light that was burnt out, at least until I banged it with my fist. Then he became sceptical for a moment then plasted the sticker on my windshield.

I am glad the dealer is doing it, for many reasons.
Different states have different rules. In Cally, you can't move, change, or even breathe on cats. Not sure what the texas laws are, but I'm willing to bet they are more lenient.
That being said, that's too high a price.
