The Sport package doesn't change the suspension, so the only handling change is in the wheels and tires - I don't find it rough on mine, but sometimes it is a little bouncy.
If I ever upgrade the suspension, it would be for firmer rebound control.
I definitely suggest getting both Touring and sport
