"Found On Road Dead" is a thing of the past... That's from the domestic automobile dog days of the 70s-90s. Things have changed and domestic manufacturers like Ford are ranked highly in quality and reliability and it shows as they consistently take market share away from the likes of Honda, Toyota, Nissan, and the other makes that the consumer perceives as "most reliable."

The fact of the matter is the 2011 Mustang GT is built just as well, if not better, than our Zs. Materials used are the same high quality materials Nissan puts into our cars and build quality is just as good, if not better. Hell, Ford paint is better than Nissan's by unspeakable multiples. Any new Ford is NOT a car you need to worry about breaking or falling apart on you.

The only relic of the old days left on the Mustang is the solid rear axle, but as we all know (well, all of us except for you) is that it kicks *** and takes names on the drag strip and road course alike.

That is all.
I'm going to give you a +1 for that /\. couldn't agree more. The solid rear axle is strong, great for straight ling performance and with the right suspension set up, will handle pretty damn good too. Keeps costs down as well.
