Here's a little tip I picked up from experienced and professional drag racers. On a street car drop the rear tire pressure down to ~20psi. For cars with a lot more HP than the 370Z (the few cars out there) drop it down even further. At 20psi it'll allow you to launch the car at higher RPM without having to feather the clutch as much to produce less wheel spin, the tires will deform more upon launch and it will drop your 60' time and ultimately result in a big improvement in the 1/4 mile for such a small adjustment.

Give it a try. The "sportsman" classes in NHRA typically will run rear tires as low as 12psi (that's practically FLAT!) with drag radials.
