I think this look goes perfectly with a huge wing sticking up a couple of feet.

I would take this picture with a grain of salt, because 1. the fish-eye lense type of shot they took doesnt exactly compliment the whole thing. 2. Those tips are actually not that bad. They've got a decent rolled lip and they are slant cut which looks far better than the coffee can style from a side view.

I agree with you for the most part. What bugs me is when the exhaust tips are not flush with the body lines. Which is why a nice slant cut slightly smaller tip would go perfectly with the lines of the rear bumper!
