Well the use of the word "generally" and the following clause:
"Use Schedule 2 only if you primarily operate
your vehicle under conditions other than
those listed in Schedule 1."
suggest a bit of vagueness in their definition of schedule 2 driving
As I mentioned before they is a wide range of driving between "primarily highway" and the strenuous conditions they list for schedule 1. They leave it a bit vague so they can have some wiggle room if they find some driver hammering the car and bringing it in every six months.
Anyway, do what you think best based on your driving habits, but don't let some lackey @ Nissan customer service determine your service schedule for you.
