ive driven a cayman s and have ridden in the passenger seat of a 997 911-s. Both cars surpass the Z by a pretty big margin in terms of performance. Porsche just has the driving dymanics down. The feedback, connectedness to the road, steering input, the raw-ness yet civilized when you want it to be are all much better than the Z. HOWEVER, there is no way it's worth double or triple the cost of the Z. If you can afford it without a ding on your bank acct, go for the porsche but the Z almost does what the porsche can do while costing a whole lot less.
