when I hear that new Volvo slogan about how you should just buy one "because there are more important things in life", or some nonsense like that. To me, that entire idea is suggesting for you to just turn off your brain about what is essentially one of the largest purchases you'll ever make.
What's sad to me is that their target demographic exists, and as a car enthusiast, that entire philosophy is anathema to me.
