Citing ¼ 0-60 times, trap speeds, or dollar signs as reason enough to deem cars such as the GT-R, ZR-1, and Dodge Viper (A lot cheaper) superior vs. the Lexus LF-A is completely missing the point. By that logic pretty much all super cars are a rip off which couldn’t be farther from the truth. You could put 20-30k in an EVO and smoke almost anything. And? Forget about driver involvement, the fun /joy of driving, the sound of an F1 like V10 at 8500rpms, the confidence a well engineered car inspires, etc, etc.
As far as I'm concerned the LF-A is leagues above the GT-R in the areas where it really matters. If all I cared about was winning races at the light sure I’d choose a GT-R. If I wanted what is probably the best overall performing street legal sports car I’d buy a Porsche GT2 RS. It all of course depends on what you want but to dismiss an automobile based solely on test track numbers / price is pretty ignorant. Well, unless all you care about is getting from point A to point B the quickest.
