Yes, we need another oil discussion fueled by a bunch of conjecture and meaningless UOA results.

Really, unless you're running a built engine or building your own engine to specific specs, it doesn't matter. Any oil labeled as "synthetic" is more than good enough for street use.

And **** AMSOIL. Bunch of marketing ********. Laboratory oil "wear" tests are so skewed that any manufacturer that relies on them for marketing ought to be immediately discredited in any enthusiast's mind.

That said, I still haven't decided what synthetic to run in the Z once we hit 4000 miles. *shrugs* It's between Pennzoil Ultra (just want to try it out), Red Line, or just plain old Mobil 1.
