How about places to see? Phil @ Vivid is on my list. We're staying @ the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass, so anything close-ish would be great. Thanks in advance for the info.
I'm guessing you're not making your way down to Tucson..., that's too bad. Tucson and Phoenix maybe close but really are completely different in atmosphere and people.

Phoenix is generally 5-6 degrees hotter than Tucson, has more of a Metropolitan, big city feel to it, and has more of a republican flavor to it's politics. But I love both places and hope you enjoy your visit and find a great area to live in.

Also, never confusingly call Arizona State University (ASU, the Sun Devils), the University of Arizona (U of A, the Wildcats) and vice Versa. We take our college athletics very seriously down here!

By the way, you'll be visiting during the monsoons, so pack umbrellas and good rain jackets and be wary of underpasses when driving once the rains begin (flashfloods).

Welcome to Arizona!
