i've tracked them... i'm not a pro driver or anything so take my opinion with a grain of salt
. after a few sessions at willow springs (big track) the v12's seem to get greasy. also the tires started to melt/chunk a little. my friend with a e92 m3 with v12's had the same issue after a few sessions. i switched to nt05's on the stock rims and had no issues, but this was at buttonwillow 13.
i think someone else recommended a different wheel/tire setup for hpde/track events, i would have to agree. the v12's are great on the street though, i've had no issues with them at all.
