I agree with most of that except for the significant loss part. Yes it is heavier but compared with a lot of other sports coupes that get a top chop, Nissan did an excellent job in keeping the weight down and an equally good job with the chassis stiffness.
It feels much more planted than my 350Z track edition with full autocross prep.
Cowl shake is on par with the S2K and the Boxster which impressed me a lot.
Now it will be slower than the Coupe but I don't think it is too significant.
