I don't know about you, but I would be pissed off if I spent well over 60k for a Cayman S and be basically on par with the performance of a 30k sports car. And 60k for a Cayman S is the starting price--it can easily get into the 70k-80k range after Porsche options you to death--most of which you will want to have.

Skidpad numbers dont tell you which car will be faster around a track just as how 0-60mph times done on different days on different surface and different weather doesnt tell you which is faster in a straight line. We wont know till they do a head to head which will be faster but the stat sheets and physics say Cayman S PDK thats all my point is.
And yes if I were a Cayman S driver I would severely hate that I got beat by a Catfish
I think the Cayman line is overpriced by about 10k.
Endgame I think you are mistaking my words as some kind of slight to the 370z thats why you are telling me about the budjet and what Nissan has accomplished. You are preaching to the chior on that one
Believe me I know what Nissan has given us but the target has moved with the help of 320hp and a trick gearbox. Kinda changes the equation just a tad but not the accomplishment or value of the 370z. Trust me I love the car just being objective.
