I'm planning to do an interior sound insulation with Second Skin Damplifier. It helped tremendously on my Vette (Pic below), and should help on the Z. On the wheel well "Tinking" the tread wear rating on these tires is only 140, so they're picking up everythng on the road. They also STICK to the road pretty well...Everything is a trade-off...
