I don't care how much money you make, but you make enough to afford this car on your own, no?
I would be much more impressed if someone at 22 makes enough money on his/her own to afford a Ford Focus than a 22 year old driving a Ferrari his daddy bought him.

No, what you described is somebody "working their *** off," presumably during a part-time or full-time summer job, to save enough money to be able to afford a Z. I definitely do not fall into that category, nor does anybody else who has a full-time, salaried professional job. What you described would have been me at 17-18. The fourth category should have been: able to
afford the car with your own pay, regardless.
And to your second point, how would you - an outside observer - be able to know whether said 22 year old bought the Ferrari on his own? If I had no revolving debt and didn't have another person to support right now, I could trade in both cars and finance a used (very used, but nonetheless) Ferrari. And one would assume somebody bought it for me unless they knew me personally, no? Kind of annoying and presumptuous, right?
