Ferrari engines have flat-plane crackshafts .. the V8 engines are actually a pair of 4-cyl engines coupled together as the crank throws are all 180-degrees apart (as opposed to 90-degrees apart like a Chev or a Ford). This gives the traditional "Ferrari wail". The V-12 is bascially a pair of 6-cylinder engines tied together in a 60-degree V-configuration.
If you want an exhaust sound like this, stick a Ferrari engine in your car ... all a Z34 is ever going to sound like a a pair of 3-cylinder engines !!!!
