But on a serious note, it's very, very obvious when you drop that much oil via a large leak. First of all, you'll literally start seeing a black trail behind your car (if you even check your rear view). Simultaneously you'll start noticing a huge blue cloud of smoke behind you as the oil starts coating the exhaust and burning off.
Sadly I've gone through that due to a failed turbo oil return fitting
my fault, but the rod and main bearings were OK afterward.
