Exactly the same as other coolers. During aggressive driving, the power steering pump exerts a tremendous amount of effort to assist you in steering the vehicle. If the power steering fluid gets hot enough, it will eventually boil, ruining the fluid and having a dramatic impact on the steering abilities of the pump and effectively your ability to steer.
