Graduated licensing in Canada.
G1 - you can drive only with a fully licensed driver in the passenger seat.
G2 - you get after a year of G1 - drivng test, you can drive on your own under a bunch of restrictions.
G - fully licensed after a year as a G2
7 demerit points is the penalty in a hit & run. At 6, you have to explain to the cops why they shouldn't take your license away. At 10, you lose your license. This kids insurance is going to be in the thousands monthly lol.
