Nissan 370Z Forum - View Single Post - Can you drive off with a running Z if the key isn't close to it?

I believe the Z makes a beeping sound when you open/close the door and the key isn't detected to be in the car.

One morning I started my car, but ran back in to switch jackets. I forgot the key in my first jacket, but the Z started beeping like, "hey retard, you forgot your key!".
