Thanks for the info Ace, here's the update.

I talked with the sales manager this afternoon and he assured me that the car has been/is being built. According to him, its because I placed my order so early (January). He also said that my car is going to be one of very few built - I wish he wouldn't tell me things like this.

The way I'm leaning now, is to take delivery of the car, and drive it for a month or two while I have it listed for sale. Hopefully I can break even, but if not, well, its not the end of the world.

The sales manager was seemed fairly confident for delivery in May still.
