Default 7AT is GREAT !!

I drove the dealers 7At and 6 speed, both on sports models and had a blast with both. For me, the 7At is the best of both worlds and is probably faster overall than the manual. It would be interesting to see some times in comparable models with only the tranny being the difference. VIVA la difference.

I do not want to start a manual versus automatic flame. They are both great trannies.

I wish people would give more credit to the auto transmission. I believe it's just as fast as the manual, plus, in auto mode, you've got a tranny that's almost as smooth as one in the recent 7-series!!
