If you have a good ins company, they will take care of you. Besides the initial fix and payment, if anything is wrong after the estimate they can still add to it and adjust thier estimate. I wouldnt go in there and give them the impression you dont trust them cuz then they might cut corners. Ive never had a problem with my ins company fixing things even after the estimate was done and more was found. Usaully you have to get 3 estimates and they go with the lower or avg so I would make sure I get some that are high if they want this. Body shops charge all kinds of extras to make money and the ins companies know this but that doesnt mean that they wont do good work. But if you have a good shop that you use and trust then get an estimate from them that is low and then get some from somewhere else that are high and then go to the lower one.
