What you might be able to do is fit a piece of SLOTTED rubber molding over the entire length of the edge of the lip of the chin spolier so that the molding takes the scrape instead of the lip under it. Shouldn't cost more than about $10 to do and 5 minutes to slip the slot of the molding over the lip edge.
