Unhappy Installed... Slightly Misaligned

So I got my exhaust installed this morning and let me first say that it sounds BEAUTIFUL. Beyond my expectations and sound clips on YouTube do not do this thing justice. Nice job, Tony!!!

I've got a slight alignment issue.
Despite my mechanic's best efforts and two tries at loosening everything up and trying to get it right, my driver side tip is a little close to the bodywork for my tastes.

I'm guessing I need the washers that I've heard mentioned a few times in this thread? What size washers do I use and where do they go?

Thanks.
