The window opens that 1/2" or whatever when you open the door. It however does not go back up when you shut the door. If you open and close the door a few times it opens the window that 1/2" or so each time so after a few cycles the window is open like halfway. Anyone know of anything that might cause this issue in specific. I mean more in depth of an answer then "the tech did something wrong" would be nice.
i had the same problem when i had my KENWOOD DNX6140 installed. 1st things first. for the SES, disconnect the battery, let it stand for a little while then reconnect it. when you restart your car, the SES should be gone. next thing for the windows. your installer probably tapped into the "computer" of the car or w.e to give your headunit power. atleast thats what the dealership shop told me. what they did was split a wire and ran the headunit from the splitter, not the computer. i paid labor @ the dealership for that. they told me if im going to get stuff done "electrically", have the installer split a wire? just dont have it connected to the computer or w.e? it f*cks with the car or some ****.

but yeah just take it to your dealer and tell them the situation with your windows. good luck
