Well IMO, considering the nature of your build and the amount of attention the car will be commanding, I'd say you really have to do something that is LOUD and almost over the top.
I'd say black is already pretty played out since it's like the new "it" color and everyone and their mother has black rims. Now red and gold are good choices but still not too original anymore. If you go red or gold though, personally I think combine pic 1 and pic 2 so that it's one solid color for the spokes and the section with the rivets, instead of the part black and part red.
Now something pretty original might be something like the color you see on your red Alliance brakes. It's not really your standard red so it might look pretty sweet but it may be much with your color match hats and caliber behind it. Also, I think some sort of lime/takata/kawasaki green might be really cool!
