Its mainly an issue with the positioning of the o2 sensor, most HFC's, Headers, and Test Pipes have an extended port to put the o2 sensor in so it picks up less of the gas flow. This is to prevent them throwing a CEL code. If it still does, I take medium thickness steel wool and pack a bit of it in front of the o2 sensor to block even more of the air flow from reaching the sensor. Worked like a champ in my tC.
