Aww man...that is definitly not how the car is suppose to sound.
Upon deceleration of the 370z, with hi-flow cats, the car makes (around 1.5-2k) a very quiet hissing sound. Mine do it but its very slight and I can only hear it when the windows are down and when I am going from 15mph down to 5mph. What is weird is that your sound is similar but WAY louder (like 60db). I really wonder if there is something wrong with the comb in the cat.
I would get some more imput from other members. Why don't you create another thread with a catchy title and see if you can get more people to comment. I fear to say though that you may have to contact ERZ and get them to send you another set
They have really good customer support so I would give that a shot.
Did you have the exhaust on before the ERZ's were installed?
Oh and btw...you need to get a Cobb AP and contact Altered Atmosphere to get a tune. They might be able to give you my tuned map since you have the same setup. The tune is freekn unbelievable. Have you seen my thread on the tuning section -
