The way I'm thinking is this:
They price it slightly less than it would cost you to buy most of that stuff in addition to a Sport package (they know there are probably a couple items you don't want).
It's a huge margin deal for nissan, because they are only replacing parts with slightly more expensive parts. For you, the comparison is to buying the parts twice (buy the car, then buy upgraded wheels, exhaust, etc.). Nissan picks up most of the gap, and calls it "exclusive". The dealers also get to add more markeup...
I'm so frustrated. I want some of the NISMO stuff that should have been done right on the standard car - the wheel offset, for instance. I don't have a problem getting an aftermarket exhaust instead of NISMO, because I actually would prefer to lose some weight with titanium. And that NISMO nose - I'm just not sure I can do it. It also looks like it will get trashed in the first month on driveways...
