I agree with Gumpy.
The Timken test is not the end all be all of oil testing. This test is primarily run to determine the performance of extreme pressure additives found in an oil. Here is the ASTM link for the test:

An oil is subject to so much more than what this test can prove. UOA's are one of the greatest, if not
the greatest ways to verify the performance of an oil in your engine.
