Nope they can write you a ticket, they coulda also wrote me a ticket because I dont have a chicago city sticker (since I live in the south burbs)
And in chicago its not the po po that writes the ticket, its a paid and hired meter maid. I understand like if the streets are packed, and some *** is taking up a spot you coulda had and isnt even paying for it, but that early in the morning there was plenty of empty space on the streets still. That and if your gunna hit someone with a $50 fine, ok, but to ruin their day by giving them TWO $50, thats what pissed me off.
Oh yea and I forgot to mention, when I was opening my passenger side door to put my bag in the car, I chipped the edge of the door on the sidewalk
