WOW..........i cannot believe this. I JUST installed my Nismo exhaust on Friday and am running into the EXACT same problem. The picture above is exactly how mine looks and my tips look identical to your picture as well. I literally loosened and tightened every nut and bolt 10 times in different sequence to see if that makes any difference. I also tried using a floor jack to manipulate the position of the muffler while i torqued everything down. No luck. I spent 6 hours on this project and just gave up and left it the way it is. I'm thinking of taking it to an exhaust shop to have it aligned. If anyone can chime in that'd be awesome. BTW, love the Nismo exhaust. Exactly what i was looking for. Someone please helppp!!!
