Baseline was the same HP/TQ. Hence we are thinking something was up (on the dyno). Past 6500 RPM, the tach needle was bouncing (and dyno registered a lot of "noise")

HKS always stands by their products. When HKS first made these Hi Power exhausts, they used a base (non sports model) as a test mule. So, there was a small issue with midpipe . HKS then sent FREE updated midpipe to all the
owners that installed the first gen exhaust!

lmao! I called HKS Corp. and they told me that Pearl White and Monterey Blue exhausts are interchangable!

Thanks for the information
. A good exhaust should sound good in ALL RPM and have the least amount of drone (if any) on the highway .
When HKS makes their exhausts, A lot of research and development goes into it which is a good thing.
HKS is actually working on a new exhaust for the 370Z. It's called the HKS SSM (Super Sound Master)
