Ok I'm banging my head on the wall trying to figure out which "factory sound processor" will be best for me.
I want to run the MB Quarts as my front stage, ditch the rear speakers all together and add a Zenclosures box with a couple of 10's.
The 450/4 is just too big to be hidden anywhere so I might just sell it and buy a 300/2 to run the front stage.
The 10W7 is just a monster so I'm going to try and sell it too.
The 500/1 (and 300/2) should fit under the seats. The 500/1 should push 2 10's nicely.
I've gone through so many threads and I'm now more confused. It looks like if I use the cleansweep that I'll also need a re-Q for the sub. Is that right?
Also it looks like the cleansweep does a good job of zeroing out the factory EQ settings but it gives no tuning ability. And it only zero's out the factory EQ at one specific volume so if you want to keep the bose from interfering you have to use the volume control on the cleansweep. On top of that I'm not even sure how it works with the speed sensitive volume function.
The re-Q and re-Q5 look like they just keep the Bose from killing the bass as the volume increases. I don't know if either of these will help me accomplish what I want.
This is such a confusing PITA. I'm afraid I'll spend a ton of money and have a crap sounding stereo, or one that ONLY sounds good at one specific volume.
On a side note anyone have any recommendations at to what 10" subs would be a good match for the Zenclosures box and my 500/1?
