So I drove about 150 miles this weekend after the intake install and here are my thoughts/impressions:

- I would actually prefer the design of the Stillen intakes and how they draw air through the middle of the bumper over the Injen/AEM intakes. The AEM/Injen intakes draw air through the sides of the bumper, where there is minimal air flow.

- In order to draw more air into these intakes (and maximize efficiency/potential power gains), the bumper undertray is in need of serious ducting. I plan on doing this myself in a few weeks once I order the right parts.

- I hear a slight banging under WOT. I did a long tube header install at the same time, but it's unlikely that the culprit could be these as fitment/flex was all verified on a lift. The only possible scenario I can think of is that the included brackets/rubber mounts do not allow for enough flex to accomodate the moving engine, or the intake piping is hitting a metal area of the radiator support during engine movement.

- Intake "growl" sounds awesome.

- Fuel economy has improved over my previous setup (just test pipes). Again, I don't know if this is due to the FI long tubes or the intake but I'm averaging about 20mpg compared to my previous of about 17.
