I tried it out at the dealer, it found my songs list, and it played but the audio had static, it sounded awful. It could of been the cable (it wasn't a cable made by apple), or the usb port could of been loose. If we wiggled it around it would cut in and out too. Then after reconnecting it a few times, the car stopped recognizing the phone and gave some message, I don't quite remember what it said. Every time I plugged it in though, the phone charged. The first time it was plugged in, the phone gave the message that asked "would u like to go into airplane mode". I've looked up and down on this forum, and ive seen alot of people saying it doesn't work, and alot of people saying it works perfectly. So I am just looking for a definitive answer on whether or not the iPhone works through the usb port. Thanks everyone!
Use A2DP over Bluetooth or get another USB cable.
