You are absolutely right, that was the thrust of the article. I guess those prices hit me in a sore spot, and I went off on a tangent. I would not normally buy a convertible/roadster in any case, so my mindset was "coupe." You were right, of course.
Now, comparing Caymans to 370Z coupes, the price difference is... even bigger.
