Your cold pressures were probably at around 39/40 which isn't enough to throw the alarm, as you drove and warmed up the tires the pressure climbed to 42 which set off the alarm. Sitting parked they cooled back down again and the pressure dropped below the threshold again. Just drop the cold pressure to 35 and you should be fine.
