Bluetooth works via using different profiles. One of the profiles for bluetooth is PBA (Phone Book Access) & unfortunately the 8900 does not have PBA profile. I know the 9700 has it for sure though. Your phone & connecting device is limited to the profile that it has, and vice versa.
