I switched from using Nissan Ester Oil to Pennzoil Ultra Synthetic. I noticed an immediate SOTP difference in the torque when in 1st gear. The car now chirps the wheels when going from 1st to 2nd gear. I knew that Nissan Ester Oil lubrication capacity would have dampened the torque somewhat but I am surprised that the dampering was substatial enough to actually notice the difference when I switched to full synth.

Switching to full synth must have given me back at least 5 to 7 ft-lbs of low-end TQ to be able to notice it that much and chirp to 2nd!.
